Cosmos is a cafe in the foothills near the port town of Kamaishi . The port and surrounding lowlands were destroyed in the March 11 tsunami after a massive earthquake . this blog follows the volunteer efforts co-ordinated by Phil Cashman and his permaculture buddies .
